At The Post House, we believe that equipment is just one part of the total production package. But the most important part is our people, and our ability to use the tools provided in a creative, efficient and cost-effective manner.
So, that being said, let's talk about equipment, since it does help to have some. The Post House is Eau Claire's premier media production company, and we've been working for years with Sony, Avid and other top video equipment manufacturer's systems.
We currently utilize two edit suites, with our main suite using a Windows XP-based Avid non-linear edit system with real-time 3D and serial digital input/output, plus a 40-inch Sony LCD flat-panel HDTV display. This allows for faster turnaround and increased efficiency in the editing of your commercial or video program. The edit systems are networked to a separate Windows-based graphics system for 2D animations, motion graphics, and DVD authoring and duplicating.
Our production package includes a new JVC high-definition GY-HD250 camera, featuring the ability to record in multiple progressive formats, as well as a Sony DXC-D35 camera. The EFP package also includes Arri and Lowell lighting equipment, Shure and Audio-Technica wireless sound systems, the area’s largest variety of specialized lighting equipment, and a color monitor for you to preview scenes before committing them to tape.
We also offer duplication in a variety of formats, including DVD, DV, Mini DV, Beta SP, and VHS. Our unique setup allows us to dub from whatever digital formats are necessary for your next production.
