The Post House captures gold awards at LA CROSSE, WI -- June 16, 2005 -- Don Byrne, owner of The Post House in Eau Claire, recently received two Gold awards for video production at the Greater Wisconsin Media Communications Association-International's 18th Annual Cameofest Awards competition. The Cameofest competition recognizes outstanding work in the field of visual communications. All entries are judged based on message design, creative design, and production quality by industry professionals from other chapters of MCA-I throughout the United States. Video entries for Spectrum Industries of Chippewa Falls and the Marathon County Sheriff's Department earned Cameofest Gold awards in the Sales/Marketing and External Communications categories, respectively. Video production, graphic design, editing, and DVD authoring for both programs were don by Don Byrne of The Post House. Spectrum Industries' ADApt Multimedia Lectern: Bringing the Word of Multimedia to a Whole New Level was produced by Scott Dorn and Kim Michael of Spectrum Industies and was written by Rucinski and Reetz Communication. The DVD was designed to promote their revolutionary ADApt Multimedia Lectern which is the only fully ADA, Section 504 and Section 508 complaint multimedia lectern on the market. The program features extensive interviews, reference and FAQ sections, and closed captions for the hearing impaired. Ecstacy: Dancing on the Edge was written and produced by Sue Reetz of Rucinski & Reetz Communication, for the Marathon County Sheriff's Department. The video is directed to middle and junior high school students. It is designed to educate the viewer about the negative physical, psychological, relational, and criminal effects of Ecstasy, and the dangers resulting from its use. |
