The Post House wins Gold and Silver Awards at Greater Wisconsin MCA-I Cameofest
MARSHFIELD, WI -- May 19, 2008 -- Don Byrne, owner of The Post House in Eau Claire, recently received two Gold awards and two Silver awards for video production at the Greater Wisconsin Media Communications Association-International’s 21st Annual Cameofest Awards competition.
Cameofest is an awards competition that recognizes outstanding work in the field of visual communications. All entries are judged on message design, creative design, and production quality by industry professionals from other chapters of MCA-I throughout the United States.
Video entries for Sacred Heart Hospital and the Regis High School Foundation earned Cameofest Gold awards in the Internal and External Communications categories, respectively.
Video entries for Chippewa Valley Technical College and NAU Country Insurance Company of Eau Claire earned Cameofest Silver awards in the External Communications and Sales and Marketing categories, respectively.
Don Byrne did cinematography, graphic design, and editing for all programs. DVD authoring was done by Jon Kjarsgaard.
Sacred Heart Hospital’s Healing Presence Award was written and produced by Kasey Benson. Regis High School Foundation’s Bishop John Paul: The Man, The Priest, The Legacy was written by Rucinski & Reetz Communications and produced by Mark Seyer. CVTC’s METI Live Simulation Demo was produced by Jim Mortwedt. NAU Country Insurance Co.’s Come Home to the Country was written by Rucinski & Reetz Communication and produced by Jan Dawson.
